The incredibly ornate Santa Maria del Giglio, or St. Mary of the Lily, is one of many gems we found while wandering through the complicated streets.
Santa Maria del Giglio
The choir in the Frari is a beautiful sculptural piece that frames views through the main axis of the church.
Titian's masterpiece, "The Assumption of the Virgin," is in the Frari.
The Rialto Bridge! Unfortunately, many sights in Venice are hard to take nice pictures of since the streets are so narrow and crowded. For example, my pictures of the Bridge of Sighs are predominantly full of tourists.

San Giorgio Maggiore
The choir in San Giorgio is ornate and my favorite part of the church.
A view of San Giorgio Maggiore from across the canal. I can't imagine walking across the canal on a pontoon bridge!
San Marco's Campanile commands the Venice skyline with traditional gondolas in the foreground.
Each small canal has its own character.
San Marco at night
The Grand Canal might have even more charm at night than during the day.

Here are my pictures from the other “City of Bridges!”
